Earlene Lewis, age 82, of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020. She was born on November 27, 1937 in Porterdale, GA to Julian Jefferson Bagley and Wylene Thornton Bagley. She was raised by her grandparents, Fred and Ethel Thornton, in Thomaston, GA. She graduated from R. E. Lee Institute in Thomaston, GA, in 1956, and married the love of her life, Jackie Lamar Lewis. They raised two daughters together. Earlene was a loving, devoted wife and mother. She was a true and thoughtful friend. She was the ultimate homemaker, hostess, and cook whose specialty was coconut cake. Her hobbies included playing bridge and in her younger days, golfing. She cherished her family and friends and was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church in Stone Mountain, GA.Earlene was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie who passed away September 4, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Malcolm and her husband Greg; daughter, Kathy Scott and her husband Greg; grandson, Taylor Malcolm and his wife Claudia; grandson, Connor Malcolm and his wife Stephanie; grandson, Jack Scott and his wife Abi; grandson, Ian Scott; great-grandson, Wyatt Malcolm; sister, Shirley Nobles of Thomaston, GA; and nieces and nephews.The family has chosen cremation and no services are planned at this time.Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com.
