Wallace Thompson

THOMPSON: Mr. Wallace Thompson, age 68 of Monticello, passed away Monday, May 7, 2007 at Emory Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta. Survivors include his mother, Gladys Thompson of Scottdale; daughter, Jill Thompson of Snellville; son, Glenn and Connie Thompson of Loganville; sister, Brenda Hammons of Conyers; brother, Herman Thompson of Grayson; granddaughter, Kaylin Thompson and grandson, Tyler Thompson; several nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Thompson was a native of Jasper County and the son of the late Mildred Thompson. He was an Army Veteran and a Real Estate agent for Joyce McDonald Realty. Mr. Thompson was a member of Mountain Park United Methodist Church and the widower of the late Betty Rogers Thompson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10 at 3pm at Tom M Wages Snellville Chapel with The Rev. Charles Barnes and The Rev. Mike Keaton officiating. Interment will follow in the Lithonia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 9, 2007 from 2 until 4pm and 6 until 8pm and Thursday from 1 until service time, at the funeral home.
