My heart is so heavy at hearing of the loss of Uncle Tom. His wonderful smile and twinkling eyes brought such enjoyment to all around him. I can still hear his laugh and feel his warm hugs. I know how heavy your hearts are at his lost but just think of the shouts and hugs that occurred when he was welcomed home by his loved ones that had been waiting for their reunion with him. I know he is surrounded with their love and the heavenly love of our beloved father. I will miss his earthly presence as I'm sure you all will but I also rejoice in his going home as I know you also do. My prayers are with you all during this time. Your loving cousin, Sally

Uncle Tom could always make me smile. So ironic that Uncle Tom's going-home celebration occurs on the same day as we celebrate my dad's birthday. Uncle Tom would always give me the best compliment in that he'd say that out of all of dad's kids, I looked the most like daddy. Many wonderful memories and most of them revolve around how much he loved his family. I think Uncle Tom, daddy (Bill Puckett) and all the other uncles and aunts that have gone on will have a wonderful reunion together. I'll miss him so very much.

I am so sorry for your loss. It weighs heavy on the hearts of those left behind. In these times, I am comforted by Revelation 21:4 "and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I pray for peace and comfort for your family.
