Timothy "Tim" Mark Matthews

Timothy Mark Matthews, age 46 of Lilburn, GA passed away August 26, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Lysanne Matthews; father and step mother, Stanley and Lonnell Matthews; brother, Scott and Julie Matthews; step sister, Rachel Matthews; nieces and nephews, Wesley Matthews, Brooke Matthews, Kurt Downey, Wade Downey, Brenna Roper, Jeff Parker; great nieces and nephews; his little girls, Abbie and Maggie. Mr. Matthews was retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service including serving during the Gulf War. Timothy finished his military career supporting the SEAL Training Team. He was a professional fly fishing guide on the Chattahoochee Sequa River, a Pro-Am bass fisherman and an avid Auburn War Eagle fan. A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Timothy Mark Matthews will be held Friday, August 30 at First Methodist Church of Ozark, AL., at 10:00am. Graveside services will be held at Westview Cemetery, Ozark, AL. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel and Thursday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Fuqua Funeral Home, Ozark, AL.
