BEASLEY: Steve Beasley, age 55, of Loganville, GA died Thursday, December 25, 2008. He is survived by wife, Penny Beasley of Loganville, daughter, Katie Beasley of Loganville, parents, John & Helen Beasley of West Palm Beach, FL, brother, Mike Beasley of Lake Worth, FL, and nephew, John Michael Beasley of Lake Worth, FL. Steve was a member of Snellville United Methodist Church. He was employed with Ford New Holland Tractor. He was always fixing and repairing things for his friends and family. He was a friend to all and positive influence for many young adults. He was also known for his sense of humor. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Wages Snellville Chapel at 2:00PM with Rev. Owen Skinner and Rev. David Walters officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and again from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. Penny, I just found out this morning that Steve passed away. I am so sorry. You and your family are in my prayers. I think about you often, but never get to see you. I guess the last time was the day I ran into you in Cornerstone Christian Book Store. I just lost my Dad in July and it has been tough. God is our strength though and will get us through. Take care. I will always remember Steve as the boy who made me laugh. We are close in age, and Steve, my sister, Mary, and I, sometimes played together when we were kids. Both he and Mary have passed on now, but I believe they are at peace, all the pain over.
Dear Penny and Katie,
I remember Steve as a good, faithful and sincere friend.
I know that you have fought the good fight for many years and I am confident that the Lord will reward you for the seed you have sown with Steve. I prayed for Steve's complete healing for years as I know you did also. There are secret things in a person's relationship with the Lord that we do not know that effect whether or not they receive what we pray for them. We can only sow the seed He gives us but the increase is up to him.
I pray the Lord give you his peace - John 14:27 - and that you prosper and enjoy good health even as I know your soul prospers.

Thank you for your call. I wish I could be there with you and Katie. Please know that I love you and will continue to pray for you both. This is such a hard time in your life but remember that God will not put you anywhere that he will not take care of you. I know you have been strong for so many years, he has carried you and will continue to, he will not let you down now.
