Shirley Roberts age 70 of Jefferson, GA passed away Monday, April 21, 2015. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Richard Peabody of Chatsworth, GA and Susan and Doug Hayes of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Armandianna Ferguson, Andrew Mitchell, Steven Perez, Steven Holmes, and Hayden Hayes; great- grandchildren, Shania Ferguson, Baillie Ferguson, and December Garrett; brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Elaine Thompson of Hoschton; uncles, Billy Iler and Harold Iler; nephew, Greg and Betty Thompson; as well as many cousins, and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Willie Mae Thompson; daughter, Wanda Sue Jarrell; brother, Jackie Thompson; and sister, Barbara Jo Thompson.Shirley was born and raised in Lawrenceville.A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Shirley will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Pastor Cindy Hardy officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Community Cemetery.
