Shirley R. Hansard, age 84, of Braselton, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph M. Hansard, and her beloved grandson, Jamison E. Hansard. Family came first with Shirley; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Shirley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Tina Hansard of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Bill Warner of Braselton; grandchildren, Tiffany H. VanDeusen, Alexandria M. Warner; great grandchildren, Jamison S. and Hunter O. VanDeusen; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 2PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 3PM until 5PM and 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home.Read Obituary

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Hansard family. We never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Hansard, but from all we have heard, she was a remarkable woman.

We join you in sadness at Shirley's passing. She was a friend and "mother" to so many who will miss her caring ways and good cheer. We remember many happy times with Shirley and her family. Our love goes out to all of you at this time.
