God's Speed Ron! It was a pleasure knowing you.
Betty and Rhonda,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We're sorry we could not make it to Georgia to be with you. God Bless you and be with you,
Love, Donna and Joe
Our deepest thoughts are with you
In the short time I knew Ron I grew to like him. I feel he added a lot to the Coker Creek area as well as to those around him. He was cheerful and casual, witty and informative always trying to stir a spark in your eye. He ran the Carver's Corner for those interested in wood carving and lined his yard with flowers of every sort. Some things no matter how small seem a bit insignificant in the bigger picture but it seems that it is the small things that tend to make the picture worth looking at. My condolences and sincerest sympathies to you.
We will always remember Ron - He was such a giving and sharing person! Whether it was hosting the carver's corner, teaching traditional crafts like caning or basket weaving or bark baskets and carving to anyone who had the urge to learn - or nurturing and helping people from all walks of life when they needed anything.
Ron was a spiritual person and one who loved all.
We remember him whooping in his headress during the gold festival - opening his doors to musicians and craftsmen and garage salers - He was so happy and he made us happy!
Ron loved everyone and we loved him!
We know it is hard for you, George as well as his children and grand children - and we know it is very hard on all those who depended upon Ron & George for help and assistance - but we also know he has moved on to a good place -
He will be missed, but never forgotten.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. We are with you in spirit.
Phil & Martha
It was a blessing to know him! I will always cherish his friendship and remember the times he would spend with me talking about gardening and life in general. He has a kind soul and I know he's in a better place and at peace.
We have all been blessed to know him and will miss him dearly.
George, I know you will miss him terribly, and you and Ron's family have my deepest sympathy. You are all in my prayers.
