Robert L. Levison, Jr., 72, of Snellville, died November 2, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Mary Charlotte Levison of Snellville; sister, Julie Levison Amerson and her husband Donald of Duluth; son, Robert L. Levison III and his wife Ann of Snellville; Step-son, Jeric Bautista, grandchild, James Nicholas Levison; nieces Karen Cook and Karla Wardell and nephew, Kevin Amerson. Robert retired from the Air Force as a Lt. Col. After 21 years of service. He was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia. During his military career he proudly returned to the University of Georgia to teach ROTC as an instructor in military history. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 2PM atTom M. Wages Funeral Home in Snellville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5PM to 8PM. Charlotte, So sorry to read about Bobby's death. I am so glad that you all had these years together....he was the love of your life and a great guy. I have lots of fond memories of both of you. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

UB, it is because of you, I love the Bulldogs so much. It is also because of you, I love plays, and musicals. You will be missed; especially during Dawg season. The last game in November will never be the same with- out you. But in your honor we will always make it a great day! We might even get your brother-in-law, Don, my dad, to wear a bulldog shirt in your honor!!!!!

I am so sorry to learn about the loss of your loved one. Please know that so many people share your grief with you to help you through this time of sorrow.
We know that when the enemy death strikes grief can be very painful or it can come as relief from suffering if our loved ones were at that state. In any event we love and will miss them dearly.
The Bible acknowledges the bitter sorrow that a person can feel at the lost of their loved one. Even when Jesus friend Lazarus died the Bible states that "Jesus groaned in the spirit and became troubled" and shortly after that "he gave way to tears". (John11:33,35)
Please accept my deepest sympathy as we await the time when Jesus Christ will awaken all of those who have fallen asleep in death.
Charlotte, Julie and family: I daily read obituaries online for Savannah Morning News and saw that Bobby had passed on Sunday. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I fondly remember our days together during the 50's.
