Reynolds Morris

Reynolds Strong Morris age 78, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2008. Mr. Morris was born in Youngstown, Ohio and graduated in March of 1954 with a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Auburn University. He served in the US Army in France from August 1954 through August 1956.  He retired from AT&T after working over 28 years in the Long Lines Division. He was preceded in death by his wife Alrie Leora Mauldin Macon Morris. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Carol Morris of Brunswick, GA, sons and daughters in law, Paul and Katherine Morris of Norcross, GA, Rey and Jennifer Morris of Jesup, GA, David and Michelle Morris of St. Simons Island, GA, grandchildren, Anthony, Sean and Coleman Morris of Norcross, GA, Will and Elizabeth Morris of Jesup, GA, Kristen and Emily Morris of St. Simons Island, GA, stepchildren, Alrie Kenney of Buford, GA, and  Thomas Macon of Charlottesville, VA, brother in law, Larry Mauldin of Knoxville, TN. A funeral service to celebrate the Life of Reynolds Morris will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Tom M. Wages, Lawrenceville Chapel. The Father P.J. Woodall will serve as Celebrant. Interment will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Kimball United Methodist Church Cemetery, Anderson City, GA. Rev. Al Lewis will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The family will receive friends following the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.Read Obituary
