My deepest sympathies to Peggy's family.
Peggy was a wonderful person, a sweet friend, and the best nurse I ever met. I had often told her that if I were ever sick, I wanted her to be my nurse. She was loved by her patients and coworkers and will truely be missed. I hope that your own fond memories will bring you some comfort and that the thoughts and prayers from us who loved her will help in your sorrow.
Rest in peace Peggy.
Dear Jack and family,
I worked with Peggy for 5 years on 3400. She raised me from a brand new "baby" nurse and taught me so much in and out of nursing! I left DMC almost 2 years ago, and Peggy was the only one to encourage me in my decision to leave. What a great person Peggy was-so FULL of energy, so positive all the time, always so encouraging and upbeat! I looked up to her for her attitude and her knowledge. I remember the day she told me of her cancer--"It's all going to be okay, I'll be fine!" she said with a smile! She LOVED her family more than anything, and talked about you ALL all the time! My heart sank when the DMC girls called me to tell me of her passing. I hate that I cannot make it to the service today as I am working. I will ALWAYS remember Peggy as a good friend. My deepest sympathy is with you, your children and your grandchildren during this difficult time. I pray you find peace in your heart as time goes on.
Sincerely, Mollie (Mullinax) Wilhoit, RN
I didn't know Peggy but I am friends with her brother Robert. If Peggy had the same zest for life that Robert has, all of you who knew her are experiencing a great loss. May you find comfort in your fond memories of Peggy.

Peggy is going to be missed a whole lot. We worked and laughed together.I have never had a dull moment around her. As you go through your grieving, may you be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Peggy, dearest, I will never forget your laugh and your smile. May your soul rest in peace.

Peggy you will be missed.
I precepted with Peggy when I returned to work. She was an excellent and compassionate nurse. She was someone you could always learn from. We are truly going to miss you on 3400.
Oh Derby, may you rest in peace. We love you & will never forget you. You will always have a place in my heart. It was pleasure meeting & working with @ DMC.SR
Jack, Sherry, Jay, we are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Peggy. Always enthusiastic about any endeavor, she was an asset to our Henderson community as she helped in so many ways with all our children. I remember the tennis matches, the football games, the college graduation party--she was always there cheering, guiding, doing what needed to be done. And when our children grew up, she went to nursing school and became a fantastic nurse, where she continued to care for those around her. We will miss her but have so many fond memories. God bless your family in this difficult time. Millie
