SAVAGE: Paul Ewell Savage, age 87 of Tucker, GA died March 21, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lou Franklin Savage and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Norma J. and Ken Fargason of Santa Fe, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry E. and Mary Jo Savage of Hilton Head, SC, Blaine and Paula Savage of Snellville; grandchildren, Jory Vick, Jennifer Riley, Jonathan Savage, Corey Fargason, Casey Fargason, Brian Savage, Scott Savage; great grandchildren, Braden Vick, Kyler Vick, Emma Riley, and Jacob Riley; sisters, Margaret Floyd of Lawrenceville, Martha Still of Lilburn, Dorothy Hewatt of Sugar Hill, Marjorie Scoggins of Lilburn; brothers, Roy Savage of Lilburn, Grady Savage and Charlie Savage both of Lawrenceville, Billy Savage of Tucker. Mr. Savage was born and raised in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Paul served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific where he received 3 Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. He retired as a Captain from the Decatur Fire Department after 30 years of service. Paul was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 23 at 3:30pm at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Pastor Jerry Hewett, Rev. Keith Pritchett and Mrs. Susan Rumble officiating. Entombment will be held at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8pm at the funeral home.
