JOHNSON: Opal Garner Johnson, age 91 of Snellville, GA died January 27, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harold Johnson and is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mozelle and Jerry Cavender of St. Mountain, Roselyn and Michael Pulliam of Suwanee, Charlotte and Travis Wilson of Lilburn; sons and daughters-in-law, Mercer and Evelyn Johnson of St. Mountain, Larry and Joan Johnson of Snellville; sisters and brother-in-law, Vivian Page of Suwanee, Peggy and Gordon Johnson of Lawrenceville; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Gwinnett County and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was formerly employed with DeKalb County School System Food Service for a number of years. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30 at 1pm at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment will be held at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home. Tom M.
