Mary Ann was such a dear and beautiful person, both inside and out. I truly treasured her friendship. She was there for me at a very difficult time in my life, and I have never forgotten her compassion, loyalty, and understanding. I always requested that she be my substitute when I was out, because she didn't just babysit the students; she actually taught them, made them work, and disciplined them, When Kerry was in my class, she and Charles were wonderfully supportive of both him and me. She was an unbelievable interpreter, teacher, mother, and friend. She will always live in my heart.
We are very sad that Mary Ann passed away. Cathy and I have very fond memories of her, when we lived in Cave Spring. She always had a radiant smile and was very friendly toward everyone.
To the family: you have those wonderful memories and experiences that you will continue to cherish through life. God bless you. Let HIM guide you and hold your hand during this time. Cathy & Gene Ziegler , Dacula, GA.
Growing up in the little town of Cave Spring, GA, Mrs. Mary Ann was a like a mother to me. She was kind, funny, and a great cook. I was in Boy Scouts with Mark and Mrs. Mary Ann was always supportive. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary Ann was one of the finest people I have ever known in my life and my heart broke when I got the call about her passing. She was beautiful both inside and out and I loved every single day we worked together at GSD. She had a real heart for Deaf children, a passion for truth, and a smile that lit up a room. Charles, you and the whole family are in my prayers.
