Louis Stean Griffin, age 65, of Lilburn, GA, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. She is survived by her loving children, son, Tre L. Wright of Layette, IN; daughter and son in law, Terri L. and Michael Shaw of Lawrenceville, GA, son, Jon L. Wright of Lafayette, IN; 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother and sister in law, Charles E. and Joyce E. Nichols of Douglasville, GA, sister, Edna Mae McDonald Gregory of Lafayette, IN, numerous wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Griffin and Lucille Spencer Griffin, sister, Ernestine McDonald, brothers, Albert McDonald, James McDonald, Willie McDonald and George Nichols. She was born in Jonestown, MS and attended Washington Elementary and Lincoln High School. She enjoyed the 18 years that she worked for General Foods. She enjoyed Music, helping other people and making people laugh. She also loved playing Softball. A Memorial Visitation with the family to Honor the life of Louis Stean Griffin will be on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home. My mother and I did more than the average mother son combo. She allowed me to make mistakes and learn from them. Ive never come to terms with her passing and I feel her presence around me often. If it weren't for her guiding me I wouldn't be in the fortunate position I'm in today. Ive also had signs of an angel in my home. PENNIES FEATHERS AND RANDOM BUTTERFLY PICS THAT WERE randomly given to me. I didn't leave them in there for me toI love you mom

Cousin Louis Stean was such a wonderful and sweet person. I never got to meet her face to face. But when I met her online, she just was so nice and accepting. I think of her often and wanted to grace her Tribute Wall with Love!!! She will never be forgotten!!! Praying that the family continues to heal from such a loss because God is enjoying her presence with him!!!

God has removed her from the ranks of this life, and we will see her again, because God has promised the resurrection from the dead to every baptized believer,in Jesus Christ. My thoughts and prayers with the family, May God Bless you and keep you and wrap his arms around the family at this time of need.I never had the pleasure of meeting Louise Stean in person but when I talk to her online it was like we had, she made me feel like we have seen each other, she was a nice and friendly and warm person. She also connected me with the family. She be missed by many.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Louis Stean in person. But, her wonderful spirit and effervescent personality were evident in our frequent communications on Facebook. She is largely responsible for reconnecting me with my Thigpen relatives, and also helping me to find out more about my Griffin family. Yes, we were discovering our dual relationship.

I will miss her energy, her kindness, and her sweet heart. May her beloved memory continue to bless us all.
