Larry Gideon Wilson went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 20, 2009. He was a long-time member of Glen Haven Baptist Church, and recently attended the First Baptist Church of Loganville. He is survived by his mother, Lura Wilson of Snellville; his brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Jimmy and Deborah Wilson of Snellville; his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Shannon Cagle of Bethlehem; his granddaughter, Jordan Cagle; one niece, Anna Wilson; aunts, uncles and cousins. The Service Celebrating the Life of Larry Wilson will be held Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel conducted by Rev. Jimmy Wilson. Graveside Service will be conducted at the Douglasville City Cemetery at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday. The family will receive Saturday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Any one wishing may honor Larry with either flowers or contributions made in his memory to the Loganville Community Ministry Village, 680 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052 would be greatly appreciated. Larry was a long time friend of mine and he and I were very close. I am just now finding out about his passing. I send my prayers and condolences to his family and all those who knew him. He was there for me through some very trying times in my life and always helped me stay grounded and keep my eyes on the Lord. Larry, you will be missed greatly and thought of ALWAYS! I MISS YOU!
