Lisa, I am saddened by the loss of your mother. Rest assured however that she is at peace now and no longer has to withstand this hard world. Take care of your family and let them take care of you!!! Us, tweeners (in between taking care of parents and children)tend to be stretched and stressed so take some time and say your prayers. God will hear your cry and answer you and heal your hurts. Your OCC family is here for you if you need us.
I did not have the pleasure of knowing her personally. I work with her lovely daughter Lisa. If her child is any indication of how fine a woman Josephine was then she must have been wonderful. I wish her God speed.
We knew Mrs. Josephine Starnes. She lived next door to my mother Mildred Spencer in Snellville. Whenever we visited my mother, we also looked forward to seeing Mrs. Joesphine. There were many days when my mother would call my wife or me and tell us the wonderful times that the two of them had sitting on the swing in my mother's backyard.
Mrs. Joesphine will be missed by the friends and neigbors on Ashworth Lake Road and the Hickory Hills development.

Jo Starnes was a special person in so many special ways. She was so little and so quiet, I would have to look for her, but when she was absent, I missed her before I realized she wasn't there. She was always so loyal and faithful in the Phebean Sunday School Class. I could always count on her to do her job and support others in theirs. I already miss her so much, but I look forward to joining her one day.
To Larry and Amanda:
Sorry to hear about the passing of your mother, may she rest in peace, stay in your hearts forever.
