Jon Garner

Jon G. Garner, age 52, of Snellville, GA passed peacefully in his sleep following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Donna Garner and their children, Nathaniel Garner of Deer Park Texas, Heather Garner Mynes of Duluth GA, Natasha Garner Malick of Snellville, GA, Jon Garner II of Norcross GA, and Forrest Garner of Snellville GA. His brothers Donald Garner of Lake Worth, FL, Harold Garner of Baytown, TX and Jack Michael Garner of Hobbs, New Mexico. His grandchildren, Hayden, Avery, Levi, Chrysta, Logan, Lilly, Mikayla, and Ava. Nephew Edward Garner and his wife Leslie of Snellville, sisters in law Patricia Adams, Cindy Garner, Jill Garner and Betty Garner, brother in law Edward McQuatters and his family of High Springs, FL, and sister in law Lynne Cook and her sons, Eric and Kevin, and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Harold Garner, and his mother Esther Cates Garner, his brother Richard Adams, and his sister Jackie Bisson, all of Indianapolis, IN. and his father in law Edward McQuatters of Linden TN.  Jon was very involved in youth sports with his children and coached baseball for several years at Lenora Park. He successfully owned and operated automotive franchises in the area for twenty years and leaves behind many wonderful friends and business associates.  A memorial service will be held at Wages Funeral Home Snellville, on Saturday, November 27th at 11:00 a.m. for family and friends to celebrate his life. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com. Tom M.
