Jerry Lee Cater, 66, of Kennesaw, GA, died September 20, 2011 in Casper, Wyoming. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 2 PM, September 28th at Tom M. Wages Funeral Home Chapel in Snellville, GA. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. Jerry graduated from Southwest DeKalb High School. He worked for the Georgia Lottery Corporation for 18 years. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, his family & friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; Ronie C. & Ruth Howard Cater & his brother, James Ronald Cater. Survivors include his sister, Virginia Cater Harmon; brothers, Earl (Doris) Cater, Wayne (Emily) Cater, Monte (Janice) Cater and a number of nieces & nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: St. Jude Tribute Program, P. O. I am going to miss your smile and your laughs. I will miss you telling me oh come on the Babies of the family are the best. That I guess has stick with me from Childhood to Adult even though I did not get to see you as often as I would have liked. You were still the best uncle anyone could ever have. Thank you for being there when we needed you.
