BARBER-Jeffrey Lee Barber, March 19,1957-October 5, 2009. Jeff died peacefully at his mother’s home in Gainesville, Georgia on October 5th after his long battle with cancer. Jeff was the eldest son of the late Clyde Alvin Barber and Pat L. Barber Davis. Jeff was survived by one sister , Debra Heard and two brothers, Chris Barber and Kenny Barber , many nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Family will receive friends from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. , Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society. Tom M. Time and space has separated us for yrs.but we remember the good ole Barbers like it was yesterday. Them three Barber boys were us three Hartley boys for years and years, my Mom and Daddy always loved them boys like they were the next of our kin!!! Jeff would always take up for us when we got into trouble, and we got into trouble often... we love all you Barbers whether alive or departed We Love Ya'll... Kenny
Please accept my condolences and find much comfort in the days ahead. Our Grand God (Psalms 83:18), has promised to eliminate all tears of sorrow and even death will be no more. What a wonderful time that will be! This beautiful hope is written for us at Revelation 21:3,4,5.
This is not more than you can bear, however at times you feel that it is. If you will remember the pain Jeff had, let this ease your heart until you met again. My prayers are with you and I love you.

I am sorry to hear of your loss, Please accept my deepest sympathy. When our loved ones die it is only natural that we want to be with them again. We have a hope that that will happen. The Bible teaches that many who have died will be resurrected. Jesus promised that "those in the memorial tombs will... come out." (John 5:28,29.) The resurrected ones will have the opportunity to live forever on a a paradise earth. (Luke 23:43) Aren't these wonderful thoughts? Can you imagine seeing you loved ones again on a paradise earth? I hope you find these thoughts comforting and they help you during these times.
