James Leach

James Quillian Leach, 88, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on December 27, 2014.He was born on February 24, 1926, in Helen, Georgia. He served in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Ocean on the USS Ashtabula, a fleet oiler. His career was spent in the moving business. During retirement he enjoyed part-time work at Publix, traveling and family. He is survived by his wife, Billie; daughter Debra Nash and husband Gene of Monroe, Georgia; daughter Marcia Lewis and husband Hillman of Stone Mountain, Georgia; grandchildren, Holly, Wes, Jaime, Matthew and Brooke; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 30 at 2:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.On January 7, 2015, he will be laid to rest at 11:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery at Canton, Georgia.Read Obituary
