James “Woody” Holloway, age 85, of Snellville passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marie Holloway; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Sandra Holloway; grandsons, Kenny and Leticia Holloway, Mark and Meredith Holloway; great grandchildren, Abigail Holloway, Nathan Holloway, Cole Holloway, Nolan Holloway; and sister-in-law, Marguerite Holloway. Mr. Holloway retired from General Motors after 30 years of dedicated service. A Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of James “Woody” Holloway will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 2PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, with Rev. Eddie Weik officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Marie, Ray and Sandra and family, Woody was missed even before he passed away. It cannot be said that you were not attentive and totally committed to him during his long illness. The neighborhood will not be the same.
