Henry A. “Buddy” Stephens, Jr., age 74, of Lilburn, Georgia, entered into rest on Saturday, November 26, 2011, after a gallant fight with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife of eighteen years, Sandra “Sam” Stephens; son & daughter-in-law, Henry A. “Steve” Stephens, III and his wife Carol of Morrow, GA; daughter, Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Stephens of Covington, GA; son, Leonard Bradley Stephens of Palm Bay, FL; two sisters, Judy & Richard Jones of St. Simons Island, GA, and Patsy Stephens of Buford, GA; brother, Randy Stephens of New Smyrna Beach, FL; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Marc Etheridge Stephens. Buddy Stephens was born on July 14, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia to Julia Etheridge Stephens and Henry Alexander Stephens, Sr. He graduated from Murphy High School in Atlanta and attended Georgia Military Academy. Buddy retired in 2003 with over 50 years of service as Owner/Operator of the first wrecker service for the City of Atlanta, Robinson & Stephens Wrecker Service. Buddy was a classical car buff and loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved to play the piano and organ. He was a member of the Mountain Park Masonic Lodge #729 F. & A.M., Shriners International, and member of the Yaarab Shrine Potentate’s Escort.  A Memorial Service Celebrating the Life of Buddy Stephens will be held Thursday evening, December 1, 2011, at 7:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to the hour of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring make donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W.
