Gray, Helen Marie, Age 2, of Winder, Georgia, passed from this life as a result of a tragic accident in LaGrange, Georgia, on Sunday, November 29, 2009. Helen was a sweet and loving daughter and adored by her parents, Brian and Kristy Gray. She loved going to church, church camps, swimming, and visiting her family and friends. Helen was born on December 23, 2006, in Athens, Georgia. She is preceded in death by great grandparent Elizabeth Kersey Piper of Pell City, Alabama. She is survived by her parents, Brian and Kristy Gray of Winder, Georgia; grandparents Thomas H. and Donna (Doss) McKinstry of Trussville and Valley, Alabama; Philip and Cindy Ingram of Moody, Alabama; Mark and Carol Gray of Notasulga, Alabama; great grandparents Lawrence P. and Betty (Doss) Hammett of Trussville, Alabama; Delmer and Lorene Ingram of Leeds, Alabama; Glenn and Helen Gray of Carrollton, Georgia; and Milton and Ann Pendley of Prattville, Alabama. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles: Clay Ingram of Moody, Alabama; James and Stephanie Rodgers of Pell City, Alabama; Lee Alan Doss of Trussville, Alabama; Gilbert L. and Ellon McKinstry of Columbus, Georgia; James L. and Katherine McKinstry of Columbus, Georgia; Ty and Leslie Simmons of Prattville, Alabama; Eric and Haley Gray of Semmes, Alabama, and two first cousins Beth Rodgers of Pell City, Alabama, and Nathan Simmons of Prattville, Alabama. She also had many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at 12 Noon at the Snellville Church of Christ in Snellville, Georgia. Larry Fryer, minister of the Monroe Church of Christ, is officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral. Helen’s uncles will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, Georgia. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com. Tom M.
