Gertrude Lee King

- Gertrude Annie Lee King, age 91 of Lawrenceville, GA died on January 3, 2009. She is survived by two daughters, Frances Mauldin and her husband Bobby of Lawrenceville, GA, Pauline Hurst and her husband Harold of Lawrenceville, GA; one son, Randall King and his wife Janet of Lawrenceville, GA; Daughter-in-law, Charlotte King of Lawrenceville, GA; seven grandchildren, Tim Mauldin, Brian King, Terry King, Scott King,  Kevin King, Stacey Mercer and Stephanie Hoopaugh; seven great-great-grandchildren, Madison King, Taylor King,  Dallas King, Collin King, Ansley King,  Hunter Mercer and Zachary Mercer. Numerous Nieces, and nephews, and a host of friends. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Guy W. King, a son Lewis H. King, and a brother, R. L. “Buck” Higgins Mrs.  King was born in Gwinnett Co., GA on October 2, 1917 to Robert Lee Higgins and Lillie Bailey Higgins. She was a Homemaker and her life was dedicated to her family. The Service Celebrating the Life of Mrs. King will be held Monday, January 5, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. At Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Raymond Wilson officiating.
