Eloise Bledsoe

Eloise Stephens Bledsoe, age 83, of Snellville, Georgia, entered into rest on April 4, 2011, after complications from pneumonia.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Carl Eugene Bledsoe on Valentine¹s Day, February 14, 2010.  She is survived by her devoted family; daughter & son-in-law, Yvonne and Ken Holcombe of Snellville, GA; three grandchildren, Angie Wheeler of Atlanta, GA, Kellie & Robert Crumpton of Seneca, SC, Julie Holcombe, Athens, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Tom & Mary Stephens of Austell, GA; sister-in-law, Gloria and Larry Clanton of Valdosta, GA; as well as a wide circle of family and friends. Eloise Stephens Bledsoe was born on April 9, 1927 in Atlanta, GA to Genie Haralson Stephens and Harvey Lewis Stephens. She and her husband, Carl Eugene Bledsoe, were married on June 15, 1950 in Atlanta, GA.  Eloise was a loyal homemaker and devoted member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Decatur, GA.  Her greatest achievements were raising her family and serving God in her church and neighborhood.  This wonderful lady will be missed by her family and circle of friends. The Service Celebrating the Life of Eloise Stephens Bledsoe will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Jerry Grey officiating.  Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge, GA.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Flowers are accepted.  Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com .  Tom M.
