Dorothy Royston

Dorothy Wells Wright Royston, age 91, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012. She is survived by her son, Michael and Brenda Royston; daughter, Dianne Jones; grandson, Rusty and Rosemary Royston; granddaughters, Michelle and Mark Chastain, Missy and Mike McGlathery, Dawn Meredith, Shawn and Paul Scott; 10 great grandchildren, Amanda Akin, Brandon Smith, Justin Chastain, James Chastain, Sage Royston, Joshua Chastain, Taryn McGlathery, Lucas Royston, Jacob Chastain, Megan McGlathery; brother, Richard and Ellen Wright; brother-in-law, Donald and Erna Royston; brother-in-law, William A. Royston; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was born May 22, 1921, In Monroe, GA but spent most of her life in the Atlanta area, working and raising a family there. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Dorothy Wells Wright Royston will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 2PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, with Chaplain Gary Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1PM at the funeral home. Please wear bright colors to celebrate Dorothy’s home going. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Snellville United Methodist Church or Clarkston United Methodist Church.
