Doris Dodd

Doris Moss Dodd, age 80, of Snellville, Georgia, entered into rest on Friday, January 18, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Glenn Edwin Dodd in 2004. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Rhonda and Ron Noreen of Dacula, GA; two granddaughters, Amy & Steve Phillips of Great Falls, VA, and Shelly Noreen of Bluffton, SC; two great grandchildren, Emily Sparks and Michael Jones; great great grandson, Payton Lane Sparks; brother, Charles Moss of Columbia, SC; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Dodd was born on December 12, 1932, in Alpharetta, GA to Zula Lee Gunter Moss and Melford Grier Moss. She was a graduate of Milton High School and was a devoted homemaker her entire life. She loved her church, for many years at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Atlanta, and most recently at Snellville First Baptist Church, where she enjoyed the fellowship of her friends in the Winsome Sunday School. Cooking and baking for her family brought her much happiness and being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother was her greatest joy. Mrs. Dodd, a true southern lady, will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The Service Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Dodd will be held Monday, January 21, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. David Tew officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Funeral Home in Snellville.
