Derrell Byrd

Derrell Edward Byrd, age 64, of Commerce, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. He is survived by his mother Hattie Ruth Nolen of Loganville, GA., sisters and brothers in law, Peggy and Bob Moore of Loganville, GA, Debbie and Lev Hartnup of Stockbridge, GA, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Edward Byrd. Derrell served as a US Marine for 4 years in the Vietnam War receiving 2 Purple Hearts. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Minister Harold Savage will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker, GA.
