Carter Allan Johnson, age 56, of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014. Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving wife Annette Johnson; brother, Chris Johnson, daughter, Meghann Batchelor and grandchildren, Vinny and Gia .Over his 56 years, Carter made many friends and had extended families throughout the US and Mexico that all shared his love, whether for fishing, music, radios or the "Florida Gators". The memorial service, Celebrating the Life of Carter Johnson, will be held, Friday, January 10, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Tom M. Wages, Snellville Chapel with the family receiving friends, Friday, January 10, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Tom M. Wages, Snellville Chapel. Continuing with the Celebration of Carter's Life will be immediately followed @ Will Henry's , 1228 Rockbridge Rd, St. Mt., Ga (770)279-9098. What a big beautiful soul, that will be missed immensely. My friend Carter,

You will always be my very close friend, and mentor, helping me navigate through my career, along with always showing me the other sides of life.

We have shared some great times, starting with meeting, and working with you in Portland, fishing under the Ross Island bridge, hanging out with Matty off of MLK blvd.
Hassling the CB club in Vancouver, you always making me eat another plate of lasagna on a dare at the Monte Carlo restaurant.
We always had fun, even when you thought you were in charge, till I had to put you in your place.
Then when you moved east, you always made sure to include me in your life.
Like doing the " Neck Car Racing " thing, the great times at Alanta Motor Speedway, Taladaga, the infield, trying to warn us about the Alabama grifter that fleeced me, and Killer.
That time you asked me if I wanted to go see Stone Mountain, which I said you bet,
You then gave me a ladder, and said then get on the roof.
These, and so many other times I will never forget, you have touched my soul, along with helping shaping the man I am.
There's not a day goes by in my professional, and personal life that does not reflect your influence on me.
I hear you in my voice on a sales call, or when I make light of a situation, " what is it ? how can I help you? "
You also brought other friendships into my life, your beloved Annette, friends like Stephanie, Apple, and Killer Miller.
I can only hope I can impact this world half as much as you have, your light will not dim as long as I live, you will not be forgotten, my mentor, Carter, Daddy, my freind, you have touched soul.
