Brenda Sue Rees, of Snellville, GA passed away February 8, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Harry Rees; daughter and son-in-law, Tamra and Andy Tullos and loving grandsons, Ryan and Carson; daughter, Wendy Player; sister, Anna Dorsey; brothers, Basil Workman, James M. Davis, Jr., David A. Davis and niece, Jennifer Dorsey. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 12 at 4:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 PM until service time. Harry and Tamra I am Brenda first cousin. Anna called and told me yesterday about Brenda. I am so sorry for your lost. As kids Brenda and I were very close, and like alot of us we grew apart. She married and moved away, but I did get to see her about 11 years ago. Even tho we were never togather much that doesnt make the pain of losing her any less. Our times togather will never be forgotten. My God take care of both of you.

Harry, Tamra and family, am still at a loss for words at Brenda's passing. She was a dear friend - one of the sweetest and gracious person I've known. She was always smiling...always had a positive attitude and always thinking of others. She had a heart of gold. She was an asset to the Woodberry Neighborhood and will be missed by all especially me. To the entire family, we express our deepest sympathy. We will continue to keep all of you in our prayers as you adjust to life without Brenda. The sweet memories all of you have of her will become a great comfort in the days ahead.
So very sad to hear about your loss. Brenda was a wonderful, determined person. I have never seen anyone have such an optimistic attitude and fight the way she did. She loved you all dearly and spoke about you lots. I know there is an emptiness in your hearts but may the memories and love she brought help bring you comfort. She will alwasy be remembered fondly.
We are going to miss Brenda so very much. Never before have we known anyone so strong and brave. She has truly been an inspiration to so many of us. We're so thankful and blessed to have so many wonderful memories of our dear friend. Lots of fun times! Harry, Tamra and family please know that we have you in our thoughts and prayers. For those of you who had the pleasure to my aunt know what a wonderful, strong, smart, determined,caring person she was. She was truly one of my best friends and we shared so many good times and conversations. Living in WV, I thought GA people were so funny for basically closing the state several weeks ago for snow, but I was never happier inside because I got to spend 2 wks with the best aunt a niece could ask for. She also had a sense of humor, including when we were sitting at Tavern on the Green in NY for shopping trip several years ago and a ballroom dancer was flipping his partner and she said if I get out my wig would fly off, as she laughed and sipped her wine. She was a determined fighter and never gave up. Aunt Brenda you will missed everyday, I love you.
