Bobby Buice

Bobby L. Buice, 85, went home to be with the Lord March 24, 2013. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife Betty Buice of 67 years; four children, son, Terry L. Buice (Elaine) of Dacula, daughter, Teresa Bottoms (Bob) of Loganville, daughter, Susan Childs (Jim) of Winder, son, Kevin Buice of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; five grandchildren, Anita Stephens, Robbie Bottoms, Christa Hewatt, Gary Sizemore, Jr., Katie McDaniel; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Albert Buice (Juanita) of Hiwassee; sister-in-law, Polly Stanley and husband, Jim (Lt. Col. USAF, Ret.) of Ferrum, VA. Mr. Buice was born in Brookhaven, GA, and lived in Loganville, GA for 40 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired as Assistant Area Supervisor in the Sanitation Dept. for the City of Atlanta. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid lover of animals, especially dogs. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family will receive family and friends Tuesday, March 26, from 6 to 8pm and also from 1:30pm to 2pm before the service at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. The Service Honoring the Life of Mr. Buice will be Wednesday, March 27, 2pm at the Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Dr. Terry L. Buice, son, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Scenic Hwy., Snellville, GA. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Peachtree Christian Hospice, 3430 Duluth Park Lane, Duluth, GA 30096 in memory of Bobby L.
