I have been looking for my friend for years, I am sorry I didn't get to see you a gain. Rest in peace

In addition to countless times my brothers and sister were at Frank and Betty's, I also shared a great time with her recording her fabulous piano arrangements in Kansas City. The studio owner, who's worked on Grammy nominated recordings couldn't believe how good she was, and every song was recorded in one take. The paintings Barbara and I were given in exchange for that work are a constant reminder of what a talented and truly wonderful woman she was.

Mom, we will all remember you when we hear the bird’s sing, when we see the spring flowers start to bloom, when the autumn leaves begin to blow and when the first snowflake drops from the sky above. Birthdays, special occasions and holidays will pass, but the memory of you will last forever…

I hope you rest in peace as you walk with The Prince of Peace,

Love always,

Chris

The angels in heaven have been busy opening their arms to receive Betty. The Gorman families have missed Betty so much since she moved away, but left us with so many wonderful & extraordinary memories of those angelic fingers of hers. She was such a beautiful & talented lady - from her art of ceramics to the piano. She inspired so many of us. Heaven is so lucky to have her now. Those whom are already there, move over, because the real talent has just arrived. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers, and may God help you through this rough time.

Our hearts and prayers go to the family of Betty Tate. We always enjoyed hearing Betty play at the Decatur Civic Chorus concerts. And we have a cassette of Betty's music given to us by Betty through our Mom/Mother-in-Law Barbara Disney. She was a lovely lady and we are blessed to have known her.

Memories of Betty Tate when attending Kelley's Chapel UMC are many. She was so generous with her many talents. Even though she has gone home to be with the Lord, her music still ministers to me as I have her tapes. Each time they are played brings blessings and sweet memories. May our Lord comfort her family.

Dearest Mother,

You gave us life, you gave us love. You have been the heart of our family and have provided inspiration and strength. Through your example we have learned the meaning of courage and hope. You never gave less than your very best, and you never gave up. There are so many words to describe you, yet none of them seem adequate to pay tribute to you and the way you lived your life. Your legacy will live on through your children, our children, and generations to come. I am proud to be your daughter and love you with all my heart.
