Betty Clark

Mrs. Betty Clement Clark, age 75, died September 5th, 2009 at her home after a brief battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Gary Eugene Clark, Sr. Betty  was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and dear friend. She was always willing to give of herself to others. Betty was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church, and active member of the Joyful Sisters. She retired from Bank of America after 24 years of service in North Carolina. Survivors include 2 sons, Gary Eugene Clark, Jr. and his wife, Thorann, of Fort Meyers, Florida, and John Lyle Clark, of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Paige Clark Hayes and her husband, David, their two children, Tyler and Makenna of Fort Eustis, VA; 2 sisters, Patricia Clement Cunard of Oxford, GA, and Rebecca Clement Merritt of Monroe, GA.  There will be a Memorial Service held at Tom, M. Wages, Snellville Chapel, on Wednesday September 9, 2009 at 11:00AM, officiated by Pastor Rusty Womack. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 from 6-8PM.
