Barry Ottley Wood, age 54, of Stone Mountain, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014. He is survived by his wife Genia Smith Wood, daughter, Brittany Wood, son, Andrew Wood, step-children, Jonathan Hare, Michael Smith, Matthew Smith, grandson, Jaxon Willman, parents, Lillian and Ottley Wood, brother, Butch Wood (Melanie), sister, Landis West (Jerry), Barbara Thompson (Terry), several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. He attended Shamrock High School and was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship of Dacula. A funeral service to honor the life of Barry Ottley Wood will be held Monday, July 14, 2014 at Tom. M. Wages, Lawrenceville Chapel at 3:00 PM with the Pastor Dustin Pennington officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be expressed in Barry’s memory to Cornerstone Fellowship of Dacula, Nami Gwinnett or a charity of your choice.
