I met Arnold through mutual friends in 1994. He did a very big favor by getting me up and running with wiring in my start up shop in Lilburn. I wanted to pay him more for his work but he charged me...
" What he felt was fair". He knew I was just beginning and that I could use any break possible. Some people are able to make a good impression in a short amount of time. That was Arnold and this is how I will remember him. A good man.

I have sympathy for the pain his family and dear friends are experiencing now. I pray that your burden will ease and that you can continue celebrating the time you had with Arnold.

I have known Arnold Sloan for many years and always considered him a wonderful friend! He will be missed by family and friends, as well. I know all of his family and certainly feel for everyone of them. His Brother Andrew was my solo instructor years ago and we are both corporate jet Captains. One of my fondest memories is taking Arnold in the Gulfstream simulator because he loved to fly. I know Andrew enjoyed Arnold flying with him on occasions. I just received an email from Andrew and happen to be flying in India. Our family tragically lost younger brother, David, on July 25, 2006. It continues to be tough for all of our family. Although the grieving process is long, it helps to celebrate a persons life by rembering all the good times. David always enjoyed flying with me.

The Sloan family is in my prayers and I know God will give them comfort. I shed tears for all of Arnold's family and friends! God bless his soul. Captain Allen Waters

Sloan Family, we are very sorry for your loss.Joyce spoke of Arnold often throughout the years. We had the pleasure of meeting him and being around him at some of our family functions, he was always friendly and made sure he talked to everyone. He could always make you laugh by telling some of the stories about things him, Allen, Joyce & others had done. He will be greatly missed by everyone. We have to remember the good times we all had with him, and know he is looking down on us and letting us know he is okay.

He was a very special person. I still fondly remember him as a young child telling us that Alfred was "too little to cross the tootlog". Alton, Lois and family you will continue to be in our prayers.
