Anthony Cain

CAIN: Anthony Joe Cain, age 57 of Lilburn, GA died July 24, 2007. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Daniel Lee Liddel and Mary Louise Liddel and is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patsy Cain; daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Matthew Thompson of Stone Mountain; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Nancy Cain of Loganville; mother-in-law, Sara Walsh; aunt, Ruth Fowler both of Stone Mountain; several nieces and nephews, Jeffrey St. John of Seffner, FL, Christy Cain and Cory Cain all of Loganville, GA. Mr. Cain was a graduate of Duluth High and Gainesville Junior College where he played basketball. He continued his education at Georgia State University. Mr. Cain served as a paramedic in the Air National Guard for six years. He was formerly employed with JM Tull Metals Co and Paragon Steel Corp. Mr. Cain was employed with Kraft Foods for the past 15 years. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, enjoyed fishing, reading, gardening and trips to the beach. He was a big fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and was at almost every home football game for the past 30 years. He was a devoted husband and loving father. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, July 28 at 10am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Fr. Greg Kenny serving as celebrant. Interment will be held at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home. Those desiring may make donations to the American Heart Association, P.O.
