Alvin Mccluskey

Alvin McCluskey, age 93 of Dacula passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Alvin, better known as “Doc” is preceeded in death by his parents Asberry and Lucinda McCluskey; brother, Sprayberry McCluskey. He is survived by his sisters, Drue Hinton of Dacula and Priscilla Jones of Atlanta as well as many loving nieces and nephews. “Doc” loved listening to gospel music and was an avid lifelong farmer who enjoyed farming until he no longer was able. A funeral service honoring the life of Alvin McCluskey will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Tom M. Wages, Lawrenceville Chapel with Reverend Willie Montgomery officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Dacula and the family will have lunch at the funeral home following the burial. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 noon until 8:00 PM.
