Aaron Matthew Venable age 19 of Buford, GA passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015. He is survived by his loving parents, Matt and Kathy Venable of Buford; grandparents, Doug and Kaye Cobb of Athens; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Rosalyn Venable.He was a 2014 graduate of Mill Creek High School, where he played football and was a team manager. Aaron was currently attending Lanier Technical College in Gainesville. He enjoyed sports and was an assistant coach for the Mill Creek recreation basketball team.A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Aaron will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00AM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Pastor Ed Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park.The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 6PM-9PM. We were neighbors for many years and our lives have intersected many times as our children, Aaron and Emily,along with our other neighbor's daughter Katie, played together took swimming lessons together, hung out at the pool together, and went to school together for a time. Aaron was always such a bright spot with his friendly hellos to us and always stopping to talk in the store or wherever we saw you guys. We will always remember Aaron's kindness and his loving spirit! We will keep you both in our prayers as you go through this extremely difficult time. Praying that God will comfort you in your loss and give you strength, and that He will somehow use this for His glory. May God be with you and fill you with His peace! Aaron wouldn't be able to pick me out in a crowd.- Neither would his parents, other relatives, or friends. I was an anonymous fan of his in the stands of the Mill Creek Athletic Association basketball courts. I would watch him play his best every game and watch very competitive players rally around him because he was such an inspiration. His positive "can do" Attitude will remain in people's hearts. -Sending prayers to the family.
Aaron played on my brother's (Ryan Hill) rec basketball team and I looked forward to seeing his happy face and watching him play his heart out every game. He is truly a gift from God. Aaron will be missed very much, prayers go out to his family and everyone else who has been impacted by his beautiful soul.

Aaron was a pure delight to me. I will always remember how respectful he was and how serious he was about his singing and his preaching. I'll never forget him dressing up as Elvis to perform at my concert- he brought the house down!
I cannot begin to imagine the hole that is left in your home. I am praying for you all the time, Matt and Kathy. We all know that Aaron is ecstatic and in the presence of The Lord, while you remain behind to continue the Earth part of your own journeys to the same place he is. May you not lose heart, but my God somehow fill you with fresh resolve to please Him android be His vessels in spite of or even because of the ache. I love you both.
