Thomas Edward Frizzi

July 20, 1954 - January 20, 2022

Thomas Edward Frizzi, age 67, formerly of Lilburn, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022. He was preceded by his father, Oscar Frizzi. He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of 50 years, Peggy; his five children, Thomas Jr., Shannon, Katie, Allie and Tiffany; his ten grandchildren, Eric, Faith, Hope, Madison, Oliver, Chloe, Sophia, Logan, Sierra, & Simon; his mother, Gloria; and brother, Michael. Tom had a lifetime of service with the Knights of Columbus. During his service he held numerous leadership positions inclusive of Faithful Navigator, Grand Knight, District Deputy and Master of the Fourth Degree. His expansive philanthropy included finding multiple charities through Knights of Columbus and leading their ongoing efforts as Treasurer for the Knights of Columbus Charities of Georgia. An avid cruiser, he loved traveling with his wife often spreading his charitable efforts at every port of call. Tom was a creative and crafty man as an accomplished jewelry maker, crocheter, and needle point artist. He shared his gifts generously and brought joy to countless people. Always the philanthropist, Tom refused to accept payment for his pieces unless it was in donation to his charities. Tom was known for his loud voice and big heart. He was such a considerable presence in the world but the most gentle and kind man to all who had the joy of meeting him. Tom was a friend to all and a stranger to no one. He was the best husband, dad, friend and Nonno in the world. He will be missed immensely but would only want a celebratory remembrance. A colorful vest, a pair of Crocs, and conversation for all is how Tom will be celebrated today and always. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. John Neuman Catholic Church, 801 Tom Smith Road, Lilburn, GA. Burial will follow at Honey Creek Woodlands Cemetery,2625 GA-212, Conyers, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, 3705 Highway 78 West, Snellville, GA.
