Sybil Sligh Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sybil Vaughn Sligh age 75 of Snellville, GA., went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2022. Sybil was married to the love of her life for 43 years, John Sligh, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Sligh Regetar; son, John David Sligh; 3 grandchildren, Jade Sligh, Brenden Sligh and Alivia Hopkins; sister in law and her husband, Judy and Doug Tolen; nephew, Greg Tolen; niece, Sherry Balmer; several great nephews and nieces; as well as numerous friends. Sybil was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She was born December 3, 1946. She graduated from West Fulton Sr. High in the class of 1964. Sybil was employed with the DOT for the State of Georgia. It was while working with the State she met John. After retiring she worked in the office for Partitions. She has been a member of Snellville First Baptist Church, and later a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Grayson, Ga. Sybil enjoyed music and being in the choir. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her but she is now in the arms of the Lord. The graveside service to celebrate the life of Sybil V. Sligh will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, 2000 Marietta Blvd, NW, Atlanta, GA.
