Steve B. Hudson

Steven B. Hudson, age 70 of Loganville, Ga, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019. Steve is survived by his wife Ruth Hudson and fur son Murphy; sister and brother-in-law Dovie and Paul Elliott of Hoschton, Ga; daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Mike Rigney of Lawrenceville, Ga; daughter and son in law, Raigan and Johnny Ferguson of Monroe, Ga; son and daughter-in-law, Gil and Brooke Hudson of Hiram, Ga; daughter, Randi Hudson of Loganville, Ga; and son and daughter-in-law, William and Glenna Curlutu of Lilburn, Ga. Steve is also survived by granddaughters, Kaylee, Brittany, Logan, Alexus, Mackenzie, Bayley, Maci, and Rilee; grandsons, Devin, Tripp, Christopher, William Jr, Wade, and Alex; and great-granddaughter, Faithlynn; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.Steve was native of Tucker, Ga. and was born in Atlanta, Ga. Steve attended Tucker/Lakeside High School and joined the Marines at the age of 16, where he was sent into combat in Vietnam and received the Purple Heart medal. Steve worked for Stone Mountain Park for 15 years, which he later retired from. He is a member of Westside Baptist Church in Snellville, Ga.The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Steve B. Hudson will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Westside Baptist Church, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local veteran charity of your choice in loving memory of Steven B.
