Ruth Will White

Ruth Will White, age 96 of Lawrenceville, GA, peacefully passed away Friday, November 29, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, two beloved sons, and her older sister. She is survived by her younger sister, three devoted daughters, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Ruth was born in Washington D.C. Then as a teenager, her family moved to Nutley, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Nutley High School and Washington School for Secretaries. After marriage and starting a family, they spent over 15 fun-filled years in South America and then resided in Florida. When her husband passed away, she moved to Lawrenceville. Ruthie, as she was affectionately called, was an active resident of Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett, participated in Senior Games, and attended Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church. Ruth enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and loved ones. Ruthie also liked walks in the sunshine, volunteering, gardening, bowling, tennis, ping-pong, and especially dancing. Our family is comforted knowing that Ruth is in the presence of God, reuniting with loved ones, and dancing with the angels. The family has chosen cremation and there will be a Celebration of Life at Delmar Gardens, where she lived and was loved for the last 18 years.
