She lived the majority of her life in Stone Mountain and Lawrenceville, GA. She graduated from Bass High School and later married her husband, Bobby, on August 11, 1951. She worked for the Atlanta Center for Disease Control giving tours and was even featured in several of their early health films until the birth of her first child. She was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Grayson, GA. Pat had a flare for making things beautiful inside and outside her home. She enjoyed creating beautiful arrangements with fresh flowers from her yard, all while teaching those around her that a simple life full of love is all that matters. She was a cook of delicious meals, a baker of sweet treats, a gardener, a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, and loyal friend. Pat was also an incredibly loving and present Grandmama and Grandmeir to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a mind to recall exceptional details, and a gift to make conversation with anyone, often recounting wonderful memories and stories from her youth. She always sent a card for each birthday and every celebration. She loved hearing about the latest adventures of her great-grandchildren and it brought her great joy to see their little faces. Pat's love for Jesus radiated through her, as her life was spent being a blessing to others, always putting the needs and wants of others before her own. Her love for those closest to her was a fierce and unconditional love that knew no bounds. Her husband, Bobby, who she met when she was only five years old, protected her and cared for her every need until the very end. A picture of sacrificial and pure, unconditional love.
