The family is deeply saddened and shocked by Miriam’s sudden death. Miriam Tamar Abernathy was born September 16, 1967, she was only 54 years old. She is preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Lee Abernathy. Miriam is survived by her two daughters, Heather Dawn Daniel and Melissa Evon Floyd; and four grandchildren; Sia, Timothy, Zaiden and Dawn'ella; father, Donald Lee Abernathy; mother, Betty Yvonne Abernathy; brother, Donald Mark Abernathy; and sister, Deborah Evon Longshore. Miriam attended New Life Christian School in Stone Mountain Georgia. Miriam, you will always be in our hearts and you will never be forgotten. We love you so much. Rest in peace. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Miriam Tamar Abernathy will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Connect Point Church, Snellville, GA. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery, Loganville, GA. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA and she will Lie in State, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of service, 11:00 AM at Connect Point Church, Snellville, GA.
