Michael "Mike" Walts

Michael “Mike” Louis Walts, age 68 of Snellville, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Eastside Medical Center due to heart failure. Mike was preceded in death by his father, William “Al”; and mother, Beulah “Boots.” He will lovingly be remembered by his wife, Donna; children, Jeremy and Ashley Waddle (Bret); grandchildren, Nolan and Grant; brother, Kevin (Judy); and niece and nephew.Mike was a native of Royal Oak, MI, but moved to metro Atlanta with his family after graduating high school. He worked as a Shuttle Supervisor for Macy’s department stores for 42 years, where he met his loving wife, Donna. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He never met a stranger, he was compassionate, and kind. He was a faithful member of Snellville United Methodist Church, where he volunteered as a sound technician for over 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and never missed an opportunity to catch his limit at the river during trout season.The Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Mike Walts will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
