Michael William Mann, 74 years old, of Snellville, GA, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Alfred Mann. Michael is survived by his wife of 50 years, Theresa G. Mann; daughter, Shelly Mann Fanning and husband, Martin; son, Clinton Mann and wife, Marcie; grandchildren, Emma Fanning, Audrey Fanning, James Fanning, and Ellie Mann. He is also survived by his two sisters, Linda Mann Barron and Susan Mann Herrington; brother, Mark Mann; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Michael was a native of Atlanta, GA. Mike enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1966 and served a four year period as an ET, with his last year of service in Vietnam. He lived most of his life in Snellville, GA. Mike received degrees from DeKalb College and Georgia State University. His career was in data processing, and he worked as a manager for Crawford & Company’s data center in Tucker, GA, for many years. Michael was a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church, in Stone Mountain, GA.Michael was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He put family first and lived a life of integrity and respect for others. He raised his children to be hard working, law abiding, responsible adults.
