Merrell Moss, age 77, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Bart and Willie Mae Parrott, Sr.; brothers, Thomas Dick Parrott, James Bart Parrott, William Lamar Parrott, and Howard Lonnie Parrott. She is survived by her loving daughter, Joy (Tim) Anderson; grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie Anderson; sisters, Mary Lawrence, Jane (Jim) Neilsen, and Martha Jones; brothers, Jimmy (Rhonda) Parrott and Clarence (Margie) Parrott.A funeral service honoring the life of Merrell will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 2:00pm at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Mac Palmer officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 19th from 4pm-8pm at Tom M. When Merrell would visit us in Columbia, SC she loved to go out and eat at a restaurant called the Lizzards Thicket. This restaurant served homemade food and she would always select foods that reminded her of her mother's cooking. When we got home she would love to play games into the wee hours of the night. Merrell was one of those people who had a sweet disposition. She always had a kind word and was so thoughtful of other people. We will miss her. She went too soon!
