Mary “Sue” Perry Johnson, age 88, of Dacula, GA passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. She was born on February 17, 1936, to George Robert Perry and Emma Grace Greer of McDonough, GA. She graduated from McDonough High School in 1954 and retired from Amoco Oil Company, as well as the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Dacula.Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William Ray Johnson and sister, Betty Grace Merritt. She is survived by her son, Darrell Ray Johnson of Dacula; brother, Robert Perry of Augusta; brother and sister-in-law, David and Charlene Perry of Snellville; sister and brother-in-law, Millie and Bob Lunsford of Hoover, AL; as well as many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Sue will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11:00AM at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home 1322 S. Main St. Atmore, AL 36502, where the family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.
