Mary Nell McRae Brown

Mary Nell McRae Brown, age 81 of Marietta, GA, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband L.M. “Buddy” Brown, parents Herman “Fish” and Nell McRae, and brother A.C. McRae. She is survived by sons, Scott (Marsha) Brown of Monroe and Stephen (Carrie) Brown of Savannah; granddaughters, Morgan Brown and Kayla (Cale) Watkins; several nieces and nephews; step-children Larry (Barbara) Brown and children Evan and Sara Brown, Mark (Bambi) Brown and children Christopher (daughter Violet) and Katie Brown, and Laura (Jose) Brito and children Emerson, Cameron, and Emily Brito.Mary Nell was born and raised in Warm Springs and graduated from Manchester High School. She lived most of her life in Marietta and was a dedicated homemaker. She was an active member of Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta and then Calvary Baptist Church in Smyrna. Mary Nell enjoyed Gospel music and spending time with family and friends.The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Warm Springs on Wednesday, September 21st at 12:00 with the funeral to follow at 1:00. Interment will follow at the Warm Springs Cemetery.
